Bahrain GOYS president receives Fatima award for Athletes delegation

President of the General Organisation for Youth and Sport (GOYS) Hesham Mohammed Al Jowder received today Board member of Bahrain Olympic Committee, Head of the Woman Sport Committee and member of the jury of Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak Award for Woman Athletes Shaikha Hayat bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa who introduced to him the award's delegation comprising General Coordinator Khawla Al Mehiri and delegation members Nada Al Shibani and Meriam Refai.
The GOYS President listened to a detailed account on the award which aims to further develop woman sport on sound bases, reaffirming the paramount importance accorded to woman sport by GOYS, in line with the directives of Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He also paid tribute to Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Family Development, President of the General Women's Association and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Mother and Child Affairs, for her support to woman athletes.
