Araby supporter of Arab woman issues

The Head of the Arab Women's Organization Mervat Tallawi hailed the efforts exerted by the Arab League (AL) Secretary General Nabil el Araby during his tenure which will end in July.

She said that he protected the AL which embodies the Arab solidarity in facing the current challenges, adding that el Araby is an Arab prominent figure.

These remarks came at the speech delivered by Tallawi during the ceremony organized to honor el Araby on the sidelines of the 45th session of the higher coordination committee of the joint Arab work.

She lauded the AL chief supporting stances to the issues of the Arab woman and his participation in all activities aiming at empowering the Arab woman as well as enhancing her role.

Tallawi reiterated that el Araby backed the Arab women especially those in the violence-hit countries.
