Egypt's ambassador in Australia meets with Canberra university chief

Egyptian Ambassador to Australia Hassan el-Laithy held a meeting Sunday with Chief Executive of the University of Canberra Professor Stephen Parker to discuss ways to promote cooperation in the field of scientific research.
Egypt's economy started to recover after the government had initiated a number of giant projects, said a statement by Egypt's Foreign Ministry.
For his part, Parker voiced aspiration to cooperate with Egypt in several educational
fields such as environmental technology.
