Azhar, Oxford University agree to exchange researchers, visiting professors

Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayyeb on Tuesday received UK ambassador in Cairo John Casson to discuss a cooperation initiative between Al-Azhar and Oxford University in the field of researchers and visiting professors exchange.
The meeting dealt with sending Azhar's visiting professors to give lectures, teach Arabic at the Oxford University.
The two sides also discuss collaboration on teaching English to Azhar's teaching staff.
The Oxford University's Islamic Center invited the Grand Imam to give a lecture about "Islam and world peace" during his awaited visit to the UK.
