King Salman: Saudi Arabia will continue support of Cairo University

Visiting Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz Al Saud voiced thanks and appreciation over granting him an honorary doctorate from Cairo University.
Addressing a ceremony held on Monday at Cairo University Campus, King Salman said Cairo University has contributed to enriching the scientific movement not only in Egypt, but in the whole Arab world as it introduced several Arab intellectuals and scientists.
It is highly important that the university continues its scientific role, the Saudi monarch said, adding that Saudi Arabia will continue its backing for the prestigious university to carry on its mission in the Arab world.
He said honoring him at Cairo University is considered a big honor for the Saudi people as a whole.
