UNESCO cooperates with Egypt in education, scientific research, monuments

Director of UNESCO Regional Bureau in Egypt Ghaith Fariz asserted that the organization is keen on cooperation with Egypt in several domains, especially education, scientific research and monuments.
Also, the UNESCO is keen on cooperation in programs of raising the youth's awareness, Fariz said in statements to MENA on the sidelines of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the UN.
There is current cooperation between UNESCO and the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities to renovate some important cultural sites, Fariz said.
