Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP)
Manama - BNA

The Director of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP), Dr. Cynthia Gessling, has praised the hard work, dedication, and performance demonstrated by students taking part in the Programme’s Group 16 candidacy training, which comes as part of the selection process for the Programme’s ten annual scholarships.
Dr. Gessling made these remarks during the closing session of the candidacy training, which came at the end of a specially organized day dedicated to developing teambuilding skills that took place at Novotel Hotel. Dr. Gessling presented certificates of achievement to the group of 60 candidates, which included 40 students from Ministry of Education schools, and 20 students from private schools.
Dr. Gessling congratulated the candidates for completing the training stage of the selection process, which was organized by the CPISP in cooperation with the Bahrain Institute of Business and Finance (BIBF), and which included an Academic Writing Course, a Critical Thinking Course, leadership and communication development training that includes a Level 3 Certificate in Team Leading certified by the UK-based Chartered Management Institute, as well as Personality and Career Path Assessments.
The Programme also organized guest lectures and panel discussions with qualified professionals on academic, personal development, and career-related topics, as well IELTS and SAT preparation courses.
Dr. Gessling affirmed the final ten scholarship recipients will be selected based on their Grade Point Average, their IELTS and SAT test results, and scores of the leadership training and Critical Thinking course, and will include three young women and three young men from Ministry of Education schools and two young men and two young women from private schools, who will be announced this March.
Dr. Gessling also extended her thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Information and BIBF for their continued cooperation with the Programme, and wished the students success.
