There was plenty happening in the Sultanate this past week. Here's our weekly News Rewind to tell you what made headlines over the last seven days:

beginning from Saturday, 27th May. The Main Committee of New Moon Sighting at the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs released a statement that they had received reports of the moon being sighted in a number of governorates in Oman on Friday evening. 

The Ministry of Oil and Gas also announcedPrices fell this month, with M91 and M95 petrol are now 180 and 191 baisas per litre, while diesel now stands at 197 baisas per litre.
