Cairo - MENA

Egypt's consulate in Jeddah has posted pictures on Facebook of unidentified Egyptian pilgrims who were killed or injured or in a recent stampede in Mina, said Amr Awad, assistant foreign minister of consular affairs.

He called on relatives of missing pilgrims to visit www.facebook.com/Egyptian.consulate.InJeddah to see the posted pictures.

At least, 74 Egyptians were killed in the stampede which left hundreds of people dead.

The incident followed the collapse of a crane into the Grand Mosque in Mecca. Some 107 people were killed in the crane fall.
