As part of the Ministry of Interior (MOI)'s development and modernization strategy aimed at building active community partnership, in addition to the care and support of Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to protection of youth and support of their loyalty spirit, Police Media Director Colonel Mohammed bin Daina said that (Watani) magazine for children has been launched on Monday at several schools in Bahrain and copies of its first edition are freely distributed at all the various schools and children-related institutions.
He said that the monthly magazine addresses all children and focuses on safety and security and it comes in hard and soft copies that could be downloaded through the iPhone and iPad Http://watani.policemc.gov.bh.
He said that the magazine has been designed to attract children to national culture values through accumulative experiences and enhance security awareness, love and loyalty to the nation. The magazine is committed to the required scientific, education and artistic standards.
The Director said that the magazine went through many phases and enough study period to attract the best Arab expertise and adopt the best scientific approach in publication. He said that the preparation phases included interaction with the targeted audiences through cooperation with the relevant organizations in Bahrain.
