Unidentified attack editor in chief of al Tayar newspaper

The editor -in-Chief of the daily newspaper 'Al-Tayar', Osmn Mirghani was attacked, Saturday, at his office, by unidentified persons, police said Saturday .
Statement released by police Press Office indicated that the eye witnesses said the attackers who escaped in land cruiser, used sticks to beat the journalist .
The statement said police force hurried to the crime scene but the aggressors were left using land cruiser .
Meanwhile, the Sudanese Journalists Union has condemned the attack, calling on the authorities concerned to arrest the aggressors and bring them to trial .
