Saudi newspaper urges backing Egypt in its war against suicide
Riyadh - MENA

The Saudi "Al Riyadh" newspaper on Friday called for backing Egypt, particularly with regard to confronting terrorism, stressing that Egypt and its stability should be above any narrow-scope agendas.

In its editorial, the newspaper said that the Arab world is currently suffering from several challenges, some of which are aimed at undermining countries regarded as cornerstones in the Arab world.

The collapse of such countries absolutely affects the rest of nations in the Arab region including the Gulf countries, it added.

Egypt is a pillar country in the Arab region and it is currently seeking to restore its power after two revolutions in just two years, the article indicated.

Egypt is much bigger than the Muslim Brotherhood group or any other political party. What is important now is Egypt's prosperity, stability as well as restoring its position.
