Armed Forces thanks Egyptian media outlets for their support

The Egyptian Armed Forces thanked on Monday all Egyptian media outlets for their support of the army.

In a statement, Army Spokesman Mohamed Samir said the Egyptian army has went through many battles all through its honorable national history and the Egyptian media have always been supportive of its national army.

Two days ago, the Egyptian Armed Forces fought two different wars at the same time, one on the ground from a coward heinous enemy who is taking Islam as a cover and the other one was a fierce media war launched by some misleading foreign media outlets as part of the fourth generation of information wars, he added.

The spokesman thanked the national media which was full of hundreds of distinguished articles written by veteran writers in support of the army, atop of which was famous writer and poet Farouk Guwaida. Those writers have been and are still in the same trench with the Egyptian soldier, he added.
