Sharjah Media City, Shams, has announced that it is one of the official supporters of the MYCONTENT event, owned and organised by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions on 29th and 30th of October, in Hall 8 of the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Shams, an innovation centre created under the vision of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, aspires to further evolve Sharjah’s constantly diversified offering of media, knowledge, thought, culture and investment.

MYCONTENT is the dominant international entertainment content and media marketplace in the MENA region. Shams collaborating in this marketplace for networking, showcasing, producing, co-producing, selling, buying, financing, and distributing entertainment content across platforms.

Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Media City, said, "This collaboration is a unique occasion for our two visions ,Shams and MYCONTENT, to come together as one. We are pleased to be a part of this anticipated event and look forward to future ventures together, to enlighten the vision of a future-centric UAE."

He added, "We at Sharjah Media City have an integrated approach to incubate talent and manpower in the media sector. We aim to lead regionally, augment and develop high quality creative media content, as well as provide fitting media and innovative environments through establishing an attractive and sustainable city with world-standard infrastructure and services."
