Manama - Arab Today

Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi has lauded Bahrain’s long history in the fields of education, literature and arts, as well as efforts to consolidate its pioneering status as a beacon of media, intellectual and cultural creativity during His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s prosperous era.

While patronising the "Enjaz" Festival, organised by Enjaz Events and Public Relations at the Moda Mall until December 17, as part of the kingdom’s celebrations of its National Days, the minister expressed admiration for the festival’s high-quality cultural, artistic and literary events aimed at strengthening the national identity.

Al-Romaihi praised the idea of the festival which, he said, embodies the partnership between the public and private sectors in fostering belonging to the nation and in promoting good citizenship.

The minister praised, in particular, the photo gallery and paintings of Bahraini leaders, the inauguration of the poetry book, entitled "Letters of Love" by poet and Radio Bahrain Director, Yunes Al-Salman, as well as the national poetry evening, in which a number of Bahraini poets are participating, and the Bahraini Arda shows.

Al-Romaihi said that the Information Affairs Ministry is keen on highlighting the kingdom’s celebrations of its glorious National Days in partnership with public and private sides for the sake of highlighting cohesion between the leadership and all segments of Bahraini society within a framework of allegiance to the nation, and pride in its cultural and Arab identity, and in its comprehensive and sustainable development achievements, under the Royal Reform Project spearheaded by HM the King, and thanks to the support of his government.
