Bahraini-Omani media cooperation discussed

Oman’s Minister of Information, Dr. Abdulmoneim bin Mansour Al Hassani, today received Bahrain News Agency’s Director-General Ahmed Mohammed Al Mannai, on the sidelines of his official visit to Sultanate of Oman.
Media cooperation was discussed, chiefly between Bahraini and Omani news agencies to include the exchange of news, photos and media reports.
The BNA’s Director-General conveyed greetings of Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi, commending the progress seen under the leadership of HM Sultan Qaboos of Oman.
The Minister welcomed the BNA Director-General’s visit and attached great significance to the role of bilateral meetings in promoting cooperation among the GCC news agencies.
The meeting was also attended by Oman’s Information Undersecretary Ali Al Jabri, Oman News Agency Director General Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Eraimi and a number of officials.
