Cairo - MENA

The Public Prosecution ordered on Monday two journalists, Amr Badr and Mahmoud el Saka, to be held in custody for 15 days pending investigations into charges of spreading rumors and inciting protests on April 25 which marked the Sinai Liberation Day.

The two journalists, along with seven others, are also accused of planning to exploit the protests to clash with security and army forces and attack public and vital facilities including police stations.

The investigations, which lasted for six hours, said the suspects were possessing firearms, Molotov cocktails and inciting leaflets
