Nissan has launched the all-new Nissan Kicks compact

Nissan has launched the all-new Nissan Kicks compact crossover in the Middle East, its latest addition to the crossover segment. The new Nissan Kicks was first rolled out in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil during the 2016 Summer Olympics. It has been now launched in more than 80 countries. Samir Cherfan, managing director of Nissan Middle East said: “The all-new Nissan Kicks was developed with the modern urban commuter in mind, with the aim of delivering the most innovative, stylish and functional crossover in its class. These commuters will appreciate the car’s ability to deal with the rough and tumble of the urban jungle thanks to its advanced chassis control technology. They will also love the ease of parking due to the Around View Monitor and the amazing functionality of the 7-inch color touchscreen. We believe that it will be a big hit with young people in the region.”

• Audi at the 2017 motor show has presented another concept car, which demonstrates the potential of the future Q8 model range. The Audi Q8 sport concept study demonstrates the vision Audi’s developers and designers have for the dynamic SUV of tomorrow. Characteristic aerodynamic features in the front and rear are a prominent part of the Audi Q8 sport concept design. The highly efficient drive system concept of the study is particularly groundbreaking. The 3.0 TFSI six-cylinder engine featuring a mild hybrid system and an electric powered compressor is the world’s first. It has a 476 hp output and its 700 Newton meters of torque and sprints from 0 — 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. Top speed is 275 km/h.

• Infiniti was named in the Wards 10 Best Engines Awards in 2017 for the company’s new 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. The new Infiniti powerplant was chosen from a field of 40 new or significantly improved powertrains, alongside Wards 10 Best 2016 winners. The advanced VR-series engine is available across the range of Q50 sports sedan models, as well as the recently introduced, all-new INFINITI Q60 sports coupe. The 3.0 engine is available in two configurations – 300 horsepower and in a high-performance option delivering 400 horsepower.
