Red Alfa Romeo 4C at Villa d’Este

The world has waited long enough for the Alfa Romeo 4C. But these Italians don’t like being rushed. Alfa is taking its sweet time over this one, bringing the 4C out in a new color every once in a while, and teasing people to death with it. Villa d’Este Concourso d’Eleganza is where the 4C made its most recent public appearance, and it came in a juicy red paint finish that makes it look really hot. Sure, not all people will find this car pretty, but there’s no denying it’s very artistic and special, and therefore desirable. I mean next to your Japanese and Korean sports car this thing is going to shine like Angelina Jolie in Gia! What’s more, 4C’s beauty is more than just skin deep. The engine in this car is even more beautiful than the way it looks. a 1.7 liter MultiAir turbocharged four-pot that makes 200bhp. Granted, that doesn’t sound like enough, but considering how economical it can be, we can live it. Given the 850 kg weight of the 4C, this engine will give it a 0 to 100 km/h time of around 5 seconds. So it ain’t no slouch. Just need to wait for Alfa to haul a** and make it happen.
