New arrival: Dongfeng peugeot 308

Launched in Shanghai on Oct 20, the Dongfeng Peugeot 308 is produced at the joint venture between Dongfeng Motor Corp and French carmaker PSA Peugeot Citroen. It is priced between 103,900 yuan and 141,900 yuan. The 308 is available with 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engines, and five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmissions, the same as the currently sold Dongfeng Peugeot 307. The 1.6-liter engine produces peak power of 78 kW and 142 Nm in torque. The 2.0-liter engine generates peak power of 108 kW and 200 Nm in torque. Its length, width and height is 4,558 mm, 1,805 mm and 1,505 mm. Its exterior and interior have features to meet demands of Chinese customers. Unlike the hatchback 308 sold overseas, the domestically produced 308 is a five-door sedan.
