Chris Harris reviews Mercedes G63 AMG

Here we have your Chris Harris fix for this week, and joy of joys, he’s driving the mad Mercedes G63 AMG. It is amazing to think that Germans – known for being sensible and have lots of common sense – went ahead and made a car that doesn’t make any sense at all! I mean, the G63 is a military car with an ancient chassis, big wheels with low profile tires, luxury interior, and a 544hp bi-turbo V8 engine. It is completely bonkers… but it is fantastic. Utterly, utterly fantastic. What, you don’t believe us? See what Chris has to say about it: He’s right, you know. Just because you don’t need a 544hp SUV, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have one. There are many pointless things in life that we don’t really need, but we want, quite badly!
