The Second African forum for smart networks continued on Monday meetings under the sponsorship of Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker.

A large number of ministers, experts and specialists from various countries throughout the world are taking part in the event. 

Major international companies specialized in the electricity and telecommunications networks, as well as smart networks and systems are also attending the forum.

The conference will discuss the latest in the smart networks domain as well as African and western countries' experiments in this domain.

The event was opened by Shaker on Saturday.

On the sidelines of the forum, an international exhibition will be held with the participation of major companies specialized in smart grid technology.
