Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu
Tripoli - MENA

Turkey is looking forward to resume its activity with Libya in the sectors of transport and energy, its Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Monday.

Speaking at a press conference with his Libyan counterpart Mohammed Siyala at the naval base in Tripoli, Cavusoglu said that directives were given to issue the Turkish visa electronically in one month.

Turkey hopes that Libya would restore stability as soon as possible so that the visa could be cancelled, he added.

Cavusoglu arrived in Tripoli earlier in the day to meet with Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya Fayez al Sarraj.
