Tehran - Xinhua

Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Fereidoon Abbasi, said Saturday that nuclear talks with the world powers will "definitely" yield result if Iran's nuclear rights are observed, Press TV reported. "The trend of negotiations keeps on and there is no specific problem in the trend of talks," Abbasi said, adding that Iran will continue the talks. Abbasi's remarks came after Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on October 16 that West's sanctions and restrictions will never be able to force the Iranian nation to bow to the demands of its enemies. "They keep saying that the reason for (mounting) pressure on Iran is to force the Islamic republic to return to the negotiating table, but we had never left the negotiating table over various issues, including the nuclear (issue), to return to it now" Khamenei was quoted as saying by Press TV. During intensive talks in Russia's capital of Moscow on June 18- 19, Iran and the P5+1 (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany), did not sign any agreements but agreed to meet again in Turkey's Istanbul in July at the expert level. In July, Iran's deputy nuclear negotiator Ali Baqeri said that the nuclear talks with deputy head of the EU's foreign relations in Istanbul were "positive." However, no date and venue was set for further high-level negotiations.
