Russian enterprises have great interest in bidding for the building of Malaysia's first nuclear power station to start from 2021, according to the latest Malaysia local media reports.

Although Russia and Malaysia have not entered into any agreement, Russian enterprises will bid when Malaysia invites tenders, Russia's state-owned nuclear corporation Rosatom Corp was quoted as saying by the reports.

In addition, it added, Russia is willing to provide assistance to countries which are in need of developing nuclear energy, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
