Iran's natural gas
Tehran - FNA

Iran's giant natural gas reserves, its modern gas extraction sites, and gas transfer infrastructure have persuaded its Arab neighbors to import natural gas from the country, a report said.
Iran has the second largest natural gas reserves in the world and it still has huge potentials for new gas discoveries.
The Persian Gulf Arab states are willing to buy Iran sour gas to generate electricity. Iran is the only gas owner in the region to supply the Arab States' gas needs, an MNA report said.
Iran has gas export deals with Turkey, Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan and Turkmenistan, while more agreements with Pakistan, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman and some European countries are in process of implementation, the report added.
Iran has signed gas export accords with Turkey, Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan and Turkmenistan; new agreements are to be considered with Pakistan, Iraq, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman and European countries.
