Minister of electricity Mohamed Shaker
Cairo - MENA

An electricity observatory said Friday that the maximum power load today is projected to hit 20,550.
In a daily bulletin, the Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency expected power deficit would reach 1300 megawatts on Friday.
Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker said a blackout in many places of Egypt on Thursday has never been witnessed in the country since 20 years.
Egypt is trying to reduce the consumption of electricity as many people complain of daily power cuts.
