Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker

Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker lauded on Thursday public and private sectors' investment in electricity and energy fields.

This came during the inauguration of the Egyptian Businessmen Association conference held under the rubric "Investment opportunities in projects improving efficiency of lighting systems".

During the inauguration, Shaker said the government provides suitable guarantees and conditions to promote investment especially in renewable energy and its efficiency fields.

He also reviewed efforts to rationalize energy consumption and investment opportunities in projects enhancing efficiency of lighting systems.

The ministry will launch a huge media campaign that aims to raise the awareness of all citizens over the importance of consuming electricity, he added.
