Egypt PM Ibrahim Mahlab
Cairo - MENA

The Economic Ministerial Committee held a meeting on Monday under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab in the presence of the ministers of trade, planning, supply, electricity, finance, international cooperation and investment.

Cabinet spokesman Hossam Gawish said the meeting tackled efforts to increase power supply to face increasing burdens of electricity.

The ministerial committee agreed during the meeting on establishing an Egyptian joint stock company to follow up development projects, in addition to electricity production units to face the 2015 summer burdens.

The ministerial committee agreed to meet the citizens' needs of commodities through importing more goods from abroad.
