
An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale jolted 29km SW of Macquarie Island, Australia at 21:46:19 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 54.6608 degrees south latitude and 158.6049 degrees east longitude.
