Saudi Forum for Green Building
Riyadh - SPA

Global delegations from the United States of America and Britain will participate as official speakers in the fifth session of Saudi Forum for Green Building entitled 'Basic concepts, strategies and objectives of the initiative for the development of cities,' to be organized in Riyadh on Sunday under the patronage of Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) will provide the media sponsorship for the three-day Forum.
Green Leadership Awards will be handed over in the opening session to the pioneering bodies adhering to the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Green Buildings.
The list of keynote speakers include Princess Fahda bint Saud bin Abdulaziz, founding member of King Saud Endowment Foundation, Prince Sattam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, founding member of King Saud Endowment Foundation, and US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Joseph W. Westphal.
When the world's largest oil exporter turns towards sustainability, there's a clear message for the rest of the world that change is coming, says King Abdullah initiative Secretary General Faisal Alfadl. A green building leader, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is also the location of the Middle East's largest construction market. Green building design and energy-efficient products and technology are being driven by multibillion dollar spending by both the private and public sector. This offers exceptional opportunities for all those involved with green buildings and sustainable infrastructure and technology.
