Wheat-cultivated areas rise to 3.71m feddans

A total of 3.71 million feddans have been cultivated with wheat this season compared to 3.33 million feddans last year, the Agriculture Ministry said.
So far, the current winter season has not faced any crises regarding fertilizers, Agriculture Minister Essam Fayed said.
The minister asserted that this winter season did not witness fertilizer shortage, pointing out that his ministry is keen on bridging the food gap through expanding the wheat-cultivated areas.
