A joint operations room will be formed between the Iraqi army and "Peshmerga" Kurdish forces to fight Daesh, Iraq's new Defense Minister Khaled al Obeidi said Friday.
The remarks were made during a joint press conference with Osama Nujafi, an Iraqi vice president who visited the Gwer-Makhmour frontline for talks with Kurdish commanders.
There is a real approach to provide support for Peshmerga forces as they are part of the Iraqi defense system, Obeidi announced.
