Luxor balloon flights suspended due to sand storm

Sand storm on Sunday forced the suspension of hot air balloon flights in Qarna district, west of Luxor City.
In statements on Sunday, Captain Ahmed Aboud, an official in the balloon companies union, said the decision was made in response to directives of civil aviation authorities as the sand storm started to hit the city since Sunday dawn.
Meanwhile, sand storm that hit Al Wadi Al Gadid governorate forcing a severely reduction in visibility on high ways. Police reinforced their security measures and warned drivers to be careful.
