Beirut - KUNA

Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) opened here Saturday a water supply plant in the Al-Qala' town in Mount Lebanon governorate with the project costing around USD 600,000.
KFAED representative in Lebanon Nawaf Al-Dabous told KUNA that the project will help the town to receive clean water supplies, affirming that it was in line with Kuwait's policies towards supporting Lebanon.
The town's officials and residents thanked the Kuwaiti leader and people for their continuous contributions to Lebanon, affirming that the project was reflective of the strong ties between Lebanon and Kuwait.
KFAED had provided 21 loans worth USD 698 million and also grants worth USD 420 million to fund various development projects in Lebanon.
