Fayyoum governor, EU delegation discuss cooperation

Fayyoum Governor Wael Makram met with a delegation of the European Neighborhood Program for Agriculture and Rural Development to discuss promoting mutual cooperation.
The meeting tackled ways to achieve rural development in a number of villages in the governorate.
The meeting also reviewed the objectives of the program, which includes work to increase agricultural production through the management of water resources in an optimal way.
Makram praised the role of the EU in achieving rural development in various governorates in Egypt.
