35th Sharjah International Book Fair
Sharjah - WAM

The Environment and Protected Areas Authority in Sharjah, EPAA, will distribute various books highlighting the importance of wildlife conservation, especially its Sharjah Cat and Dog Shelter, SCDS, organisation, at the 35th Sharjah International Book Fair from November 2nd - 12th at Expo Centre Sharjah.

The SCDS, a non-profit organisation, provides protection, comfort and safety for abandoned and stray animals while protecting the community from any related problems.

Hana Saif Al Suwaidi, Chairperson of the EPAA, stressed the importance of the authority's participation in the fair to highlight its efforts in environment protection and wildlife conservation, with the support of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

"Thanks to the unlimited support and follow-up of the Ruler of Sharjah, the EPAA is striving to protect the environment and increase awareness through a variety of edutainment activities. Participation in major international events, such as the Sharjah International Book Fair, serves to achieve this goal," she added.
