Environment protection fund to be activated in upcoming period

The Environment Ministry will work on activating and supporting the environment protection fund in the upcoming period, announced Minister Khaled Fahmy.
In statements to MENA Thursday, Fahmy said that the fund aims to finance environmental activities, studies and projects to support the state's efforts in the environment sphere.
The fund aims also to attain sustainable development through funding pilot projects and preparing necessary studies for environmental programs, he added.
