Egypt to pursue support for Nile basin countries

Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hossam Moghazi affirmed the continuation of Egyptian support to the Nile basin countries through bilateral cooperation and Egyptian grants to these countries.
This came in statements by the minister on the occasion of the technical meetings of the ministers of water, agriculture and animal and fish wealth of Uganda, which will last for five days.
The meetings will focus on means of confronting water weeds in the Nile and establishing joint projects in Uganda's lakes including subterranean wells to provide water for the inhabitants.
