Egypt to join Khartoum Nile Basin Countries meeting

Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazy will be traveling to Sudan on Friday to attend the extraordinary meeting of irrigation ministers of the Nile Basin countries.
This will be the first time for Egypt to take part in the meetings as it has frozen its activities in the Nile Basin Framework Initiative in 2010.
"Egypt will offer a new vision for the situation with the aim of reaching a win-win solution," Moghazy said Thursday.
"This will be a good opportunity for Egypt to clarify points of contention on the Nile Basin Framework Convention," the minister said.
