Dubai Municipality offers free screening service for buyers

Dubai Central Laboratory, DCL, of Dubai Municipality is participating in the Dubai International Jewellery Show 2017, which is being held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center until 18th November, 2017.
The municipality stall showcases many high-tech devices such as the latest mobile laboratory for all gemstones, X-ray machine to check and determine the caliber of precious metals, and other modern technologies to monitor and inspect the quality of precious stones and precious metals.
Many officials and laboratory experts in the field are present in the municipality stall to educate the visitors on ways of assessing the quality of diamonds and precious stones and to clarify the importance of examining the specifications of precious metals and precious stones to make sure they conform to the actual specifications approved by DCL.
DCL is also displaying the global accreditations it has received and offers free screening service to increase customers' confidence and happiness with their purchases at the exhibition.
