Arab water forum begins with Kuwait's participation

The Third Arab Water Forum got underway here on Tuesday with participation of ministers of water and agriculture from various Arab countries and regional and international organizations.
Kuwait is taking part in the forum, themed "toward a secured Arab water future," with a delegation, headed by Minister of Public Works, Minister of Electricity and Water Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim, who arrived in Cairo late on Monday.
The three-day forum addresses a host of themes such as plans for tackling water shortage, optimum utilization of water resources and states' negotiations on water sharing.
