Armed only with a passion for flowers and a naturalgift for design, she left her job and apprenticed herself to a south London florist, to learn her new trade. After setting up her own workshop, creating innovative and beautiful flowers for weddings and parties, her reputation for quality and creativity quickly spread, and by the time celebrated architect Piers Gough had completed Turquoise Island, the acclaimed development in Westbourne Grove with a purpose-built florist’s shop on the tip, Nikki had beaten 70 rivals to the lease and Nikki Tibbles Wild At Heart was born. Today, eighteen years later, The Island has achieved listed building status and Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart has grown to include a concession in Liberty, a flagship store and head office on Pimlico Road and an ever growing nationwide delivery service and coming soon, a fabulous homewares department, Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart - at Home .
