Dubai - Arab Today

Rotana is planning to expand into Southeast Asia. The Dubai-based hotel company currently operates 85 properties in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe, but is planning to boost this portfolio to at least 100 hotels by 2020. And Rotana’s chairman, Nasser Al Nowais, said he is looking for opportunities to “enter new markets”. “It’s definitely a new era in the history of Rotana,” said Al Nowais. “Rotana has over the past few years proved that it can migrate the successful brand and operational formula to regions beyond the Middle East. We will continue to push ahead in exciting new markets such as Southeast Asia.” Rotana operates its core upscale hotel brand, four sub-brands: Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana, Centro Hotels by Rotana, Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts by Rotana and The Residences by Rotana.
