Maldives - Arabstoday

Following an extensive $8 million upgrade project, the award-winning two island resort, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island has now opened three new accommodation suites. The Premier Water Suite and two Beach Suites will present guests with every luxury at their fingertips, as well as the expertise of staff dedicated to making every whim a reality. Situated on the exclusive Rangali island (one of the two islands that make up the six star resort), the over-water 305-square metre Premier Water Suite will offer an outstanding two-bedroom hideaway on stilts above the lagoon with two over-water swimming pools set on a spacious wooden deck that faces west to showcase the dramatic Maldivian sunsets. Additional features include two large bathrooms each with a sunken Jacuzzi, butler service and an inviting living area with floor-to-ceiling windows. Bedecked with the latest in designer touches such as 50-inch plasma screen TV and beds that appear to ‘float’ above the floor, this contemporary haven offers exclusivity and luxury on a par with the best in the world. The resort’s main island sees the creation of two 650-square metre Beach Suites; the ultimate in beachfront living with two separate bedrooms, each with a huge open air garden-bathroom; an enormous 68-square metre sun-filled living room that overlooks the deck; two separate plunge pools set in a carefully managed tropical garden that lead onto the beach. One Beach Suite faces west for the superb sunset views while the other faces eastwards and is just steps from the resort’s coral reef. “At Conrad Maldives, we pride ourselves in offering luxurious accommodations that enhance guests’ experience. “In designing these suites, we’d taken into consideration how our guests liked to use the various space in their villas and married it with innovative design elements to reflect the epitome of luxury,” said Carsten Schieck, general manager of Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. The creation of the three new suites is part of ongoing renovations taking place at the resort, which will also see a complete transformation of 28 Water villas into ultra-luxurious contemporary over-water retreats with additional decking, private plunge pool, entirely new furniture and spacious bathrooms with picture windows overlooking the ocean. With the Spa Retreat and Beach Villas on Rangalifinolhu Island and Water Villas on Rangali Island, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island offers the widest choice of accommodation in the Maldives, allowing guests to enjoy a variety of different experiences without ever leaving the resort.
