Katie Eary joins River Island

Katie Eary design for River Island London - Arab Today River Island has announced its SS14 Design Forum collaboration with British fashion designer, Katie Eary. The 18 piece collection ranges from £15-£120 and comprises of bold prints, fluid fabrics, swimwear and accessories. Katie started her fashion career after graduating in 2008 from The Royal College of Art, with a main design focus on menswear, and has worked with Kanye West on his fashion label. Having introduced womenswear to her recent collections, she will make her debut into the High Street with this collection for River Island Design Forum. The collection will feature animal prints in energetic colour ways on maxi dresses, and skirts with thigh high slits, swimwear, bleached denim shorts, dip hem T’s and billowing sleeved blouses. Accessories complete the collection, with fringed suede bags, gold feather hooped earrings and a statement choker. Katie’s collection for River Island Design Forum is due to launch via a short film created and directed by film maker Kinga Burza at the Fash/on Film event at London Fashion Week in February 2014.
