Fashion's most famed houses vied for the world's attention at Sunday night's red carpet at the 87th Academy Awards. Red carpet favorites Chanel, Valentino, Elie Saab, Alberta Ferretti and Alexander Mcqueen provided some of the most flashbulb friendly looks, but two labels owned the event.
This year, two design houses clocked up multiple red carpet appearances at the Oscars: sultry Italian couture brand Atelier Versace and London-based luxury label Ralph & Russo.
Gwyneth Paltrow sashayed her way across the red carpet in a divine form-fitting by Ralph & Russo, in her favourite shade of pale pink.
The British design duo's body-conscious couture was also a hit at the Elton John Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party and Vanity Fair's Oscar bash. Kylie Minogue looked every inch a goddess in a blue silk tulle Ralph & Russo Grecian-inspired dress. Other attendees at the two evening events included Amy Adams, Gigi Hadid, Heidi Klum, Alessandro Ambrosio and Irina Shayk who all stepped out in Atelier Versace -- this year's most popular designer label at the Oscars.
For her grand Academy Awards entrance, 2015 Oscar nominee Jennifer Aniston glammed it up in a fully-beaded one-shoulder Atelier Versace gown, with a stunning side slit.
Zoe Saldana wowed the A-list crowd in a stunning blush gown, draped at the waist and with a full train, while actress Scarlett Johansson also opted for Atelier Versace. The starlet's custom-made emerald green gown which showed off her perfect post-baby bod, featured a collar delicately embroidered with no less than 2,000 Swarovski crystals.
Film's biggest fashion event wouldn't be complete without perennial A-list favorite Oscar de la Renta. Sienna Miller paid a tasteful Oscars' tribute to the late great designer. The British actress donned a dress from Peter Copping's debut collection at Oscar de la Renta, presented just four days ago at New York Fashion Week.
