California - UPI

Pat Sajak, Vanna White and Alex Trebek have signed contracts that will keep them on their respective U.S. game shows into 2016, Sony Pictures Television said. Sajak and White are the hosts of "Wheel of Fortune," and Trebek is the host of "Jeopardy!" "As we celebrate 'Wheel's' 30th anniversary season and look forward to the 'Jeopardy!' 30th next year, we are so happy to know we will be keeping our iconic family together," executive producer Harry Friedman said in a statement Monday. "Together they have hosted a combined 12,000 episodes of these beloved shows and have become part of America's family as well. I think they're finally getting the hang of it." "Wheel of Fortune" celebrates its 30th season when the show returns Sept. 17, the same day "Jeopardy!" kicks off its 29th season.
