Los Angeles - UPI
Season 9 of the U.S. sitcom "Two and a Half Men" will begin with the funeral of Charlie Sheen's character, Charlie Harper, Deadline.com reported. The two-part episode will include a reunion of sorts of Charlie's ex-girlfriends, as well as the sale of his house, which is also home to his brother, played by Jon Cryer, and his nephew, played by Angus T. Jones, the Web site said. Ashton Kutcher's new character reportedly will be one of the house's potential buyers. The show's producers have declined to comment on how Sheen's character has been written out of the show and how Kutcher's will be introduced. Sheen was fired this year after eight seasons because of his erratic behavior and substance abuse, as well as for disparaging remarks he made about series creator Chuck Lorre. He later announced he is planning to star in a comedy series inspired by the film "Anger Management."
