May Salim to star in new Egyptian drama

Jordanian singer turned actress May Salim will star in a new television drama alongside Mustafa Shabaan. Cast as the 'Farida' wife, she'll begin shooting initial scenes in the drama titled "Mazaj Al Khair" (Good Mood) when she returns from Qatar. According to MBC.net, Good Mood is a social comedy that delves into an array of topics faced by the average Egyptian youth. The big hitters in the cast include Mustafa Shabaan, Durra, Hussein Al Imam, Ola Ghanem, Hassan Husni, Mahmoud Al Jundi, Samiha Ayoub and May. The drama will hit the small screens this Ramadan. Multi-talented May has been in Qatar filming her latest music video for "Sama'ah" (I hear him) which looks set to be a steamy number with the Jordanian getting close with an Italian model. She's also presenting her play "Awlad Thuraya"at the National Qatar Theatre in Doha. From: albwaba
